My Sweet Girl

I was going to post this yesterday, but it was kind of a lousy day around here.  Jason was sick, Isabelle has pink eye in both eyes now, the furnace decided to stop working, and the back-up furnace wasn't really working either!  Yikes!!  Today will be better...or we're going to Grandma's house.

Hayley is such a happy girl...I love her smile and her spikey hair.  It sticks up all the time!  It cracks me up, because even if she has a bath, it won't stay down.

*I used papers from Authentique.  I stitched the paper strips and the punched paper with my sewing machine.  The tiny letter stickers are from The Girls Paperie.  I'm not sure where the large letter stickers are from.

Heaven...

It's "Heaven with 11"!  Sharing another layout for my mom's calendar, which she opened on Christmas and loved!  It is always nice to get such a great response.  I would have to say this layout is definitely a favorite!!

*I used Authentique for the background and used my sewing machine to stitch the grid.  The banner is a Tim Holtz diecut, as well as the rosette.  The silver letter stickers are from Making Memories and the glittered "11" are thickers from American Crafts.  The small red letters are from October Afternoon.

Halloween 2011

Isabelle loved Halloween this year!  I love this layout of her, Kelsey (her cousin), and little Hayley.  She had lots of fun going door to door, although she was still very cautious.

*I used glimmer mist and a Crafter's Workshop template for the background.  The patterned paper and purple shimmer paper are from Creative Memories.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
We hope you had a great one - we did!

Busy, busy!

This week has been so busy!  Last night, Jason and I spent at least two hours wrapping Christmas gifts.  We are done, thank goodness.  We were both tired of wrapping by the time we got done.

Today, Hayley and I had doctor appointments, so that took a bunch of time out of today and then I got little goodie bags together for the kids at daycare.  I also made cut out cookies with Isabelle and dipped pretzel rods in almond bark...yum!

I wanted to share a page I made for my Mom's calendar.  Every year my sister-in-law (and sometimes others help too!) make pages for a 12x12 calendar for my Mom.  Love how it is turning out.

This page is called I Love Your Eyes.  This is Isabelle from our lake time in Minnesota.  I used the Basic Grey "Out of Print" paper line as well as KI Stickers and a scallop diecut from Quickutz.

Christmas Cards...finished!!

I finished putting the final touches on our Christmas cards today.  I LOVE how they turned out!

I used two kinds of paper from www.jessicasprague.com in the Heidi Swapp collections.  Using my silhouette, I cut out the tabbed library card.  I used crepe paper for the ruffle, green/white twine, and then a santa from Heidi's collection as well.  I also added a postage stamp stamp for the envelope and a date stamp on the tab that says "Dec 25 2011"

I can't wait to hear reactions to them.  We added a photo of us with our girls and also a letter.
