My mojo is on vacation...

I hate it when this happens, but my mojo is on vacation.  I just have no drive to be creative.  I *want* to do it, but I feel like I just can't.  Ugh!!

I WILL create something this weekend...a card, layout, SOMETHING.  Maybe an art journal page...or start my project life for 2012....

Altered Letters

I had so much fun making altered letters for my little girl's room.  I bought the white letters at JoAnn's for maybe $2 a letter?  I'm not sure, but they were on sale.  I am totally inspired by Christy Tomlinson's altered canvas projects, so wanted to try one on my own!  I used vintage clothing pattern tissue paper, glimmer mist, glimmer glam, modeling paste (that I tinted with acrylic paint), twine, gems, lots of different stamps, and crafter's workshop stencils.

My Sweet Girl

I was going to post this yesterday, but it was kind of a lousy day around here.  Jason was sick, Isabelle has pink eye in both eyes now, the furnace decided to stop working, and the back-up furnace wasn't really working either!  Yikes!!  Today will be better...or we're going to Grandma's house.

Hayley is such a happy girl...I love her smile and her spikey hair.  It sticks up all the time!  It cracks me up, because even if she has a bath, it won't stay down.

*I used papers from Authentique.  I stitched the paper strips and the punched paper with my sewing machine.  The tiny letter stickers are from The Girls Paperie.  I'm not sure where the large letter stickers are from.
